You may experience sensations of tugging and intense cold initially, which will subside as the area becomes numb. Treatments typically last about 35 minutes per area, after which you can resume your daily activities.

Where Do Fat Cells Go and Is It Permanent?

After treatment, targeted fat cells undergo apoptosis, or programmed cell death, and are naturally eliminated from the body over several weeks. Once eliminated, these fat cells do not return.
